After practicing the questions, taking chapter tests is the first step to assess yourself. This would help you in assessing your strength and weakness in each chapter.
When to take a Chapter Test #
You should take a chapter test only after you have thoroughly prepared and practiced questions on the chapter.
If your course includes a Question Bank, you should thoroughly practice all the questions in that chapter. Also, make sure that you clear your revision lists before taking the test. After completing question bank, you should give a gap of 2-3 days or a week before you attempt chapter tests.
If the course includes two or more sets of chapter tests, you should take the tests with a gap of 2-3 days in between. In the intervening period, you can take tests of other chapters. Or you can work on practicing other chapters from the question bank.
Submitting the Chapter Test #
Your Chapter Test will be automatically submitted when the duration of test expires. However, if you happen to finish your Chapter Test earlier before the expiry of the test duration, you may click on ‘Submit’ button on the screen to view the result and doubt clearance for the test.
Pausing a Chapter Test #
Chapter tests are short duration tests. You should not pause a chapter test. However, if you need to pause a chapter test due to any emergency, you can close the window and log out. All your responses to the attempted questions would be saved on our server.
When you login the next time, you can resume the chapter test by clicking on ’Resume’ against that chapter test. You can then proceed to attempt the remaining questions in the chapter test.
Power Failure during a Chapter test #
In the event of a power failure while taking the chapter test, you should immediately close the test, log out. All your selected responses are saved on our servers in real-time.
In case, your device shuts down suddenly, all your responses will be saved. These will be available when you resume from the point where you left.
Also, the timer will be stored on your device. Next time you log in using the same device and resume that chapter test, the timer readings are updated on our servers.
Internet connectivity issues during a Chapter Test #
Don’t worry if the internet connection breaks after you have started your chapter test. Continue working on your chapter test. During this period when the internet connection is absent, we save all your responses to your device. Once, the internet connection is available, your device automatically updates our servers with your responses for evaluation.
