Mobile browsers – Clearing cache & cookies

Many of the issues regarding your experience with CareerOrbits can be due to cache and cookie issues. Due to prolonged usage of the browser and visiting multiple websites, sometimes the cache and cookies do not work properly.

You need to clear it to ensure that you are able to have the best experience of the CareerOrbits courses. Below are the steps to clear cookies and cache on Chrome and Safari browsers on mobile devices.

Chrome for Android

  1. Tap on Chrome menu (three vertical dots) > Settings.
  2. Tap on ‘Privacy’ under Advanced.
  3. Scroll down and select the last option ‘Clear browsing data’.
  4. From the ‘Time Range’ drop-down menu, select ‘All Time’.
  5. Check ‘Cookies and Site data’ and ‘Cached Images and Files’.
  6. Tap on ‘Clear data’.
  7. Exit/quit all browser windows and re-open the browser.

Safari for iOS

  1. Open your Settings app.
  2. Tap on ‘Safari’.
  3. Tap on ‘Clear History and Website Data’ and ‘Confirm’.
  4. Exit/quit all browser windows and re-open the browser.

Chrome for iOS

  1. Tap on Chrome menu (three vertical dots) > Settings.
  2. Tap on ‘Privacy’.
  3. Tap on ‘Clear Browsing Data’.
  4. Check ‘Cookies and Site data’ and ‘Cached Images and Files’.
  5. Tap on ‘Clear Browsing Data’.
  6. Exit/quit all browser windows and re-open the browser.
