About NEET UG

NEET UG is a national level medical entrance examination conducted by NTA (National Testing Agency) for admission to MBBS. BDS, BHMS and AYUSH courses. Starting 2020, NEET UG has been the only exam that is being conducted at All India level for admission to undergraduate courses in the medical stream including national level medical colleges, state-level medical colleges, AIIMS (All India Institute of Medical Sciences) and JIPMER (Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research). Till 2019, AIIMS and JIPMER were also held in addition to NEET-UG exam but starting 2020, admission to AIIMS and JIPMER is being done through NEET-UG exam..

All students, whether aspiring for admission into MBBS, BDS and/or AYUSH courses would need to appear for NEET UG, i.e., National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test. So, it’s important that you score highest in NEET UG examination.

Students who wish to pursue their MBBS from abroad also need to appear and qualify in NEET-UG.
