The NEET exam date has been declared by NTA according to which NEET 2026 shall be conducted on 3rd May 2026. If you are aspiring to pursue MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BSMS, BUMS or BHMS in 2026 in India or from abroad, you will need to appear and qualify in the NEET exam. NTA shall declare the date of declaration of results later.

NEET Exam Dates – NEET Important dates for the 2026 exam
NTA has released a schedule of the NEET exam which includes all the important dates and deadlines. You should follow these important dates to be able to appear for NEET 2026 exam. For the NEET 2026 attempt, the tentative deadline for submission of exam forms is 8th March 2026 (till 09:00 PM).

NEET Exam Date – NEET Important Dates
NTA shall conduct the NEET-UG exam on a single day on 3rd May 2026 in offline mode across India and outside India. This examination will be based on the latest NEET syllabus released by NMC.
Last Date for submission of the NEET application form
The application forms for NEET 2026 are available for submission from the 8th of February 2026 till the 8th of March 2026 (till 09:00 PM).
If you wish to appear for the upcoming NEET exam in 2026, you must fill out the NEET application form online well before the last date. Please note that there’s no provision for submission of the NEET application form with a late fee. So you should ensure that you have submitted your NEET application form by the last date for submission of the NEET Application Form, i.e. 8th March 2026 (till 09:00 PM). If you miss the deadline, you will need to wait for the NEET exam, subject to your eligibility for NEET.
The last Date for submission of NEET application fee
You should pay the NEET application fee by the 8th of March 2026, i.e. up to the last date of submission of the NEET application form, and that too by 11:50 PM. You can pay the application fee using Credit Card/Debit Card, Net banking or UPI. The fee declared for the NEET 2026 application for India is Rs. 1,700/- (For GENERAL), Rs. 1,600/- for General-EWS/ OBC-NCL and Rs. 1,000 for SC/ST/PwBD/Third Gender. The application fee for NEET 2026 exam centres outside India is Rs. 9,500.
Dates for Downloading of NEET Admit cards by NTA
NTA will make available the admit cards a couple of days before the NEET Examination date. NTA shall announce the exact date for downloading the admit cards later. You should download this admit card to be eligible to appear in the NEET 2026 examination. On the day of your NEET examination, you need to carry your admit card to the examination center.
Dates for Correction window for NEET Applcation
If you make any mistake in the form for NEET 2026 exam, you can make changes during the correction window. NTA is allowing the applicants to make a few changes to the application form. While submitting the application form, you must ensure that all the details are correct to avoid any risk. The correction window shall be available for three (3) days from 10th March 2026 to 12th March 2026.
Date of release of NEET answer keys
NEET answer keys for the 2026 exam will be released after the NEET exam date. The answer key will include the correct option for each of the questions asked in the NEET UG exam. This answer key does not provide a detailed explanation of the steps to solve the NEET UG exam questions.
Date of Display of Recorded Responses
The date of displaying your recorded responses is yet to be declared by the NTA.
Date for declaration of the result
The date of declaration of the NEET-UG 2026 exam result shall be announced on the website of NTA later. The result will provide a percentile score and ranking of each of the students for the NEET 2026 exam.

NTA does not allow the NEET aspirants to fill out the corrections after the NEET correction window ends. You should make the required correction before the correction window ends.
I missed the NEET last date for application. Can I fill the form now?

NTA has not allowed any extension of last date for filling the application form to apply for NEET UG. You would need to wait for another year to fill the application form for NEET UG.
