NEET Exam Dates – NEET Important dates for the 2025 exam
NTA has released a schedule of the NEET exam which includes all the important dates and deadlines which will apply to you as a NEET aspirant. You should follow these important dates to be able to appear for NEET 2025 exam. For the NEET 2025 attempt, the tentative deadline for submission of exam forms will be 16th March 2025 (till 10:50 PM). Last year, the closing date for submission of online NEET Application Form was extended by a week.

NEET Exam Date – NEET Important Dates
The NEET-UG exam is expected to be conducted on a single day on 4th May 2025 in offline mode across India. This examination will be based on the latest NEET syllabus released by NTA.
Last Date for submission of the NEET application form
The application forms for NEET 2025 are available for submission from the 9th of February 2025 till the 16th of March 2025 (till 10:50 PM).
If you wish to appear for the upcoming NEET exam in 2025, you must fill out the NEET application form online by the last date. Please note that there’s no provision for submission of the NEET application form with a late fee. So you should ensure that you have submitted your NEET application form by the last date for submission of the NEET Application Form, i.e. expected to be 16th March 2025 (till 10:50 PM). If you miss the deadline, you will need to wait for next year to apply for and appear in the NEET exam, subject to your eligibility for NEET.
The last Date for submission of NEET application fee
You should pay the NEET application fee by the 16th of March 2025 (expected), i.e. up to the last date of submission of the NEET application form, and that too by 11:50 PM. You can pay the application fee using Credit Card/Debit Card, Net banking or UPI. The fee declared for the NEET 2025 application is Rs. 1,700/- (For GENERAL), Rs. 1,600/- for General-EWS/ OBC-NCL and Rs. 1,000 for SC/ST/PwBD/Third Gender.
Dates for Downloading of Admit cards by NTA
NTA will make available the admit cards a couple of days before the NEET Examination date. The exact date for downloading the admit cards will be announced by NTA later. You should download this admit card to be eligible to appear in the NEET 2025 examination. On the day of the NEET examination, you need to carry your admit card to the examination center.
Dates for Correction window
If you have made any mistake in applying for the NEET 2025 exam, you can make the edits to the form by making changes during the correction window period. NTA is allowing the applicants to make a few changes to the application form. It is advised that at the time of submitting the application form only, you ensure that all the details are correct so that you do not need to make changes during the correction window. The correction window shall be available during such period as notified by NTA on its website.
Date of release of answer keys
NEET answer keys for the 2025 exam will be released after the NEET exam date. The answer key will include the correct option for each of the questions asked in the NEET UG exam. This answer key does not provide a detailed explanation of the steps to solve the NEET UG exam questions.
Date of Display of Recorded Responses
The date of displaying your recorded responses is yet to be declared by the NTA.
Date for declaration of the result
The date of declaration of the NEET-UG 2025 exam result shall be announced on the website of NTA later. The result will provide a percentile score and ranking of each of the students for the NEET 2025 exam.

NTA has not allowed any extension of last date for filling the application form to apply for NEET UG. You would need to wait for another year to fill the application form for NEET UG.
