Examination Schedule for JEE Advanced 2020

Pattern of Examination for JEE Advanced 2020
The JEE Advanced 2020 will have two objective type papers. Each paper will consist of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Duration of each paper will be 3-hours. Question papers will be in both English and Hindi. The exam will be held in online mode. If there is negative marking, it will be different in each paper. The question type covered in the paper are designed to test reasoning, comprehension and analytical abilities of candidate.
Admissions to IITs will be based only on category wise All India Rank (AIR) in JEE(Advanced) subject to the condition that such candidates are in the top 20 percentile of successful candidates of their 12th Board examination in applicable categories.
Town and Cities where IIT JEE Advanced 2020 will be held
IIT JEE Advanced 2020 will be held in selected cities and towns in India and Abroad. Outside India it will be held in Dubai (UAE). In India, the exam centres are divided into seven zones and each exam center has a special code. The candidate should choose five cities/towns at the time of registration for JEE Advanced 2020. ON THE DAY OF THE EXAMINATION
On the day of examination, you are required to reach the examination hall by 8:30 A.M.
You must carry a printed copy of your Admit Card which you can download from JEE Advanced 2020 website. You will be given the original Admit Card after verification by the staff at the center at the time of Paper -1.
You are not allowed to carry any electronic device, abacus, slide rule, log book, study material of any type, geometry box, etc to the examination hall.
You cannot leave the examination hall before the end of the examination.
