About CVV and 3-D Secure

All credit and debit card transactions on require you to enter the CVV number and 3-D secure password to provide you with increased protection while making payments using your card.


CVV stands for 'Card Verification Value' and is the last three digits of the number printed on the back of your card. You can find the CVV in or near the area where you sign your card.

Your CVV number will not be stored on our Payment Gateway to ensure enhanced security of your transaction.

For American Express cards, you will need to enter the zip/pin code of the billing address registered with your card. American Express will use this information as an additional security measure to approve your transaction.

3-D Secure password

3-D secure password is an additional password that you'll be asked to enter after entering your card details on the payment page. You'll be redirected to your bank's website from the payments page, where you'll have to enter the Verified by Visa password for Visa or SecureCode password for MasterCard.

Note: 3-D secure password has been made mandatory by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) to ensure safe online shopping. This will prevent misuse of a lost/ stolen card as the user will be unable to proceed unless they enter the password associated with your card, created by yourself and known only to you.
